At PYGG, we are happy to welcome Bram Aalbers as new member of our team.
With over 16 years in corporate and investment banking across Amsterdam, London, and Geneva, Bram adds both significant deal experience and dedicated product knowledge to PYGG, in particular on loan capital markets and the syndicated loan product.
Bram started his banking career as management trainee with ABN AMRO early 2007, followed by his first placement within credit portfolio management, focusing on the European TMT loan portfolio. Late 2008, Bram switched to ING’s client coverage team, covering wholesale clients in the Benelux.
In 2011 Bram moved to Loan Capital Markets, responsible for originating, structuring, selling, and documenting syndicated loans for ING’s wholesale client base, working from both Amsterdam and London.
In recent years, Bram was responsible for arranging syndicated loans in the Trade & Commodity Finance sector, working closely with ING’s Geneva office, covering the largest, independent commodity traders in the world. With around 12 years of deal experience, Bram has successfully arranged and closed a vast number of syndicated loans in EMEA, including various acquisition, bridge, capex, asset-backed and/or working capital credit facilities, raising the aggregate value of multiple billions of Euro’s and United States Dollars.
With Bram, PYGG clearly adds to its capabilities as Corporate Finance Firm and Loan Facility Agent, a role in which PYGG has started and aims at servicing larger institutions and (real estate) projects of social economic importance on various islands in the Dutch Caribbean.
