Hugo F. Landívar Orellana comes to PYGG with over 25 years of legal and advisory experience. He is highly regarded and sought out for his advice and opinions regarding international rights and Ecuadorean Constitutional law.
Hugo started his professional career at the Law Firm Romero Menendez in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He later co-founded the legal firm of Asesores Iberoamericano, IBELEX S.A.
Hugo received his law degree from the Universidad LAICA Vicente Rocafuerte in Guayaquil-Ecuador. He also holds a diploma from the Hague Academy of International Law on Private International Rights and two Masters degrees; one from the “Universidad Complutense” of Madrid-Spain, in International Law a Public Affairs and other one from the “Universidad de Especialidades Espiritu Santo” (UEES), in Guayaquil-Ecuador, in Constitutional Law.
Besides his legal work he was a Professor of Private International Rights and International Arbitration at the Universidad del Pacífico in Guayaquil.
Hugo currently resides in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
